A wall makeover and few corners of my home !!

Hello Friends !! How have you all been :) On my side , I've been bit by makeover bug !! The best part about  turning a house into home gradually is personalising the space with ones own handiworks in the form of some creativity or the other.I have been fortunate enough to be a part of this deco blog world and witnessing some marvellous home decorations personally done and put up in their individual homes .
A burst of color here and there with some touch of ethnicity is I guess determines most of our Indian homes
Remember the pale yellow wall of my dining area stood bare. Not that it looked terrible..But I love some character , a bit of drama and some conversation point in and around my home.Be it a craft object , a painting or as in this case my wall makeover :)

This a before view of the yellow wall behind the table(forgot to take full view of the wall in all the excitement )

This is the after pics.

Stencilled gold motif all over the wall !!

Dazzles when the sun filters through ...

Some new cushions thrown in to match the candle holder.Don't you all love the rich colors of red and gold !

Another corner synchronised with the rest of the room. Lots of rich colors and gold for me this winter..
How about you ? What color scheme have you thought about for your home this season ?
Just a few change of cushions and curtains make a hugedifference in how we can give a new look to our home with the shifting season , isn't it ?

Got those two paintings, I had posted before framed and hung :)

So wall makeover , painting completion and big job of going and getting them framed and finally finding a place for them to be put up , a little bit of this and that around the home was how the weekend was spend...

Thankyou ones again to all my lovely reader friends for continually being my inspiration and putting up and sharing such lovely pictures and ideas from their home.

Sarmistha,

Did you use the gold leaf paint for the stencil? Dining wall looks good.

Love the red and gold on the cushions.
