My little lotus buddha...a buddha scape

Nhat Hanh....
"It is not so important whether we walk on water or walk in space.
The true miracle is to walk on Earth"

To be a kind human being is probably the greatest miracle we can perform.Cultivating a kind heart is not often easy.In the morning as we wake up , befor leaving the bed  , planning breakfast , making tea or thinking of any mundane thoughts ...we should start the day by saying and thinking as to how we can make a positive difference to someone , how to use kind words as much as possible , how to benefit someone as much as possible.Setting a positive motivation the first thing in the morning is very beneficial.  If we set a strong positive motivation at this time, there is a greater chance of it staying with us and influencing us throughout the day. I have personally used this philosophy in my life. And it has worked and has helped me overcome many stressful times.

Buddha ..as I percieve is the embodiment of truth, calm , serenity , humbleness and a sense of mystery and  knowledge  .This is my little Buddha. My buddha in the begining was a little grey soapstone statue.I added some pizzaz with  gold stencil paint , a little pink on the lotus base and voila ...doesn't He look gorgeous now:)

The calmness of His face is enough to bring a smile...

To sit quitely by ourselves and to review our day.....

Incorporating even a tiny bit of Buddha's teachings in my life can make a big difference not only
to me but also to every individual I touch in life.It makes a better person out of me.Not that every day is same. But a little bit at a time is a good start to live a fulfilling life..an everyday life with a smile and enrich our kind heart as we go through the day......
I am fortunate enough to see some very beautiful Buddha and his thoughts and influence on my friends here through your Buddha scapes links.Thank you Patricia for this opportunity.I am linking my little Lotus Buddha to your IN THE SPOTLIGHT...BUDDHA SCAPES at colors Dekor
