A bit of India in my home

Happy birthday to the absolutely awesome ....The Key Bunch !! :) Its party time and I have just enough time to squeeze in :)The theme for the linky is ...A bit of India In Every Home. The gorgeous and vibrant colors of India are abound in every home in some way or the other.Playing with a mix of flowers , terracotta , copper and a variety of elements make every Indian home ethnically unique .
Keeping the mood alive I am sharing with you all how I have brought some of these elements together in my home sajavat...

Little Rajasthani elephants ...

elephants are synonymous with Indian decor

Finally I have my own Madhubani Paintings....a purchase from Delhi haat.
The reason I simply love this form of are is because o the use of such gorgeous and vibrat colors. They are
capable to light up any dull space on the wall !!

Some freshly picked flowers on a mud khullad paired with this beautiful copper vase holding  money plant.
The color scheme  can vary from time to time depending on the seasonal availibility of flowers , colored cushion , the list of creativity here is uncaged :-)

Another special find typically Indian
I feel so happy when I see Him :-)

My gorgeous gift :)

An Indian home is incomplete  without our Ganesha

Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and his desciple adorn my bedroom wall...happily rejoicing in Nritaya
So dear friends tell me what you felt .Did you like the few corners of India in my home?
Sending this post exclusively over to.thekeybunch september-carnival-bit-of-india-in- every -home.Hop over and join in to celebrate the party :)

I appreciate your comment on my post. Relocating time and again is a pain especially with the baggage limitations :( BTW, which airlines did you take... 5 bags!! We are struggling to fit in our stuff in 2 check-ins and 1 carry-on per ticket! Phhewww!!
